Cynthia Gennaro serves as the Operations Manager at Divergent Planning. Her responsibilities include helping to set and implement the firm’s strategy, managing office workflows, mediating conflict resolution, liaising with external providers, and preparing and running internal meetings.

With 26 years of experience in the financial industry, Cynthia has garnered extensive knowledge and skills from a range of companies, from boutique financial firms to international wealth management conglomerates. She truly loves her part in ensuring our firm runs effectively and efficiently while helping clients behind the scenes.

Cynthia resides in Ocala, Florida, having moved from her birthplace of Westchester County, New York. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and “fur kids,” Joey the ragdoll cat and Max the cockapoo dog. Her hobbies include strength training, exploring new beaches annually—with Destin, Florida, as a personal favorite—reading thriller novels, and cooking.
